Stocking stitch turban

DSC04738-I made this turban while commuting. It’s quite a simple pattern and very easy to make. The pattern is from the Victoria & Albert Museum – Knitting Collection. This turban is actually a cap and a long strip that wraps around the head, that are knit separately and then sewn together.

I used US 4 / 3.5 mm circular needles and a sport weight 100% acrylic yarn.

DSC04723-I had to change the pattern a bit to make it smaller, so on the cap I knitted 9 gussets instead of 10, and made the wrapping band over 216 sts instead of 240.
