Another portable project. This is based on a pattern published in July 1940, in Home Chat magazine, that I got from Lucy @ 1940’s Style For You. I used fingering weight acrylic yarn and US 4 – 3.5 mm needles.

I made this turban while commuting. It’s quite a simple pattern and very easy to make. The pattern is from the Victoria & Albert Museum – Knitting Collection. This turban is actually a cap and a long strip that wraps around the head, that are knit separately and then sewn together.
